About Amber
I started my professional career in 2014, and completed the Clinical Registrar program to gain endorsement as a clinical psychologist in 2018. Now, a dedicated clinical psychologist with eight years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis and formulation of mental health conditions across diverse age groups, from children to adults. Passionate about exploring the intricacies of human experience, including its challenges and potentials, I work with a commitment to compassion, integrity, and thoroughness in my practice.
Throughout my career, I have honed expertise in conducting thorough psychological evaluations, providing evidence-based therapies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care. I respect the importance of considering the broader context in which individuals live and function in my practice. As by recognizing and addressing these determinants, I believe interventions can be more effective, and aim to promote mental health equity.
Driven by a desire to expand my knowledge and depth within the field, I am currently pursuing additional training in forensic psychology. I am eager to apply my clinical insights and diagnostic skills to forensic settings, where I aim to contribute my knowledge with objectivity, precision, and a commitment to justice.

“My role as a psychologist is guided by the belief that humanity can only be advanced through a nuanced understanding of its natures; limitations and potentials. I am passionate about both; understanding the depth, hardship and limitations of humanity as well as the brightness and potentials thereof. As a psychologist, you can be confident that I will seek to make sense of the hardships with you, and guide you to a place of thriving” – Amber
