Fees & Policy

Fees:

A 50-minute consultation with Amber is $240. Your payment is required on the day of the appointment. Unfortunately, if you have outstanding payments, you will not be able to make future appointments.

Financial supports:

If you’re eligible, you may be able to access services with the following financial supports:

  • Mental Health Treatment Plan

  • Private Health Insurance

  • NDIS (Self or Plan managed)

Mental Health Treatment Plans (MHTP)

Your GP, paediatrician, and/or psychiatrist may decide you are eligible for a MHTP. They can complete a MHTP and refer you for psychological treatment sessions. A MHTP entitles you to up to 10 sessions per calendar year that are eligible for a Medicare rebate. This will reduce the cost of your treatment. For clinical psychology services, you will receive $145.25 as a rebate following full payment of your service/ account.

Private Health Insurance:

Your private health fund may provide rebates for psychological services. Please confirm your eligibility with your provider before making a booking.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

If you are an NDIS participant your plan may include funds for therapy or assessment services. Amber Vonhoff Psychology is able to offer these services to you if your NDIS plan is Plan Managed or Self Managed. Amber may also be able to assist your application to request access to the NDIS by completing an assessment with you or completing required NDIA Access Forms as a part of your application to the NDIS.

Cancelling your Appointment

You may cancel or re-schedule your appointment at any time.

However, if you cancel within 48 hours/ 2 business days of your appointment you will be charged a cancellation fee of $100. Unfortunately, you will not be able to make future appointments until this cancellation fee has been paid.
